Bookings

If you would like to reserve your wedding date please confirm by email within 14 days of your initial enquiry. Without confirmation, it will be assumed you do not require the date to be reserved and will be reopened for other enquiries.

Deposit

There is a £50 deposit required to be paid at the time of trial. This will allow you to meet me and ensure you are happy with the outcome of your trial. Once paid this will deducted from your final balance and is non-refundable. This is payable by cash on the day or bank transfer within 7 days of your trial.

Trial

I would usually recommend a trial date to be scheduled for approximately 8 weeks before your wedding day. I work entirely freelance so can arrange to come to a venue convenient to you, this could be your home, a relative or friends house or a hotel etc.  Travel fees will be added for outside of a 10 mile radius of SN16.  If you do not have anywhere that is convenient to you, I may be able to arrange hire of a studio space or, if applicable, a joint trial with select make up artists in their space. Both of these options would be an additional £30. If in certain circumstances you are unable to have a trial, for example, you may not be arriving in the country until only a few days before the wedding I would require the £50 deposit to be paid at the time of booking confirmation.

Travel Costs

Mileage is applicable where the venue is more than 10 miles from SN16 (calculated on Google Maps), charged at 55p per mile return journey. Your booking may include additional travel expenses including, but not limited to, parking, relocation, tolls or overnight accommodation. If these costs are a known amount before the wedding date they will be added to the final balance, alternatively, an invoice will be issued after the event.

Payment

The remaining balance is due to be paid the week before the wedding day by bank transfer or, if agreed beforehand, cash on the day. Unfortunately, I am only able to accept a single payment and not separate payments from individuals in the bridal party.

Images

If it’s possible on your wedding day to capture a few images of the styling work I have created on yours and your bridal parties hair it would be greatly appreciated. I generally only require images without your face in the shot and would only require these to be used as an example of my work on my social media and/or website.

Cancellations

If for any reason you need to cancel your booking please let me know at the earliest convenience. The deposit and trial fee is non-refundable. 

If in the unlikely event I would need to cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond my control, I will inform you at the earliest possible opportunity. I would, of course, do my best to actively source an alternative option for you where possible and a full refund of any monies paid. However, no further compensation will be offered and it is advised to have the appropriate wedding insurance in place.
